![]() Once you get to the beach in Tanaris, relax, get your fishing pole, add your fishing lure, have a swig or two from your Captain Rumsey's Lager and cast your line. Coral Reef Sharks swim off the coast and have incredible radar for easy meals (like a level 10 toon!), but they stay off shore and will not bother you along the coast line. Just follow the coast line south to Tanaris for about ten (10) minutes. ![]() If you already have a Strong Fishing Pole, Captain Rumsey's Lager and plenty of lures, then jump off the pier and swim for the southern shore of Dustwallow Marsh. "most profitable fishing locations in WoW are places where Glossy Mightfish are present." Besides, you'll be KOS anywhere near the fort city. For Horde toons: There is no "safe" method to get to Theramore Isle in Dustwallow Marsh. To get there from The Eastern Kingdoms, take the boat from Menethil Harbor in the Wetlands to the pier at Theramore Isle. Theramore Isle has a flight point for Alliance characters and is an easy destination from any flight point in Kalimdor. For Alliance toons: If you're below level 30 or don't have the Gadgetzan flight point, the journey to the shores of Tanaris requires a long swim from Theramore Isle, Dustwallow Marsh in Kalimdor.Larion & Muigin are still in Un'Goro, in the two guard towers. Linken - obvious nod to the Legend of Zelda. There really should have been a quest to chop her head off before she vanished. Braelyn Firehand - member of the Shadow Council and one of the nastiest chars in game. Jessir Moonbow's flavour quote is still the same, but that's probably an oversight. Nowhere else in Felwood, or Darnassus (where she claimed to be heading after finishing the quest). Cage is now empty (but still invokes the Use icon), as is Trey's torture table. Arko'narin - liked the nod to Wonder Woman in that quest chain. Torta & Tooga - apparently confirmed removed by a Blizz GM. The Sister Pamela quest from her has been removed. Argent Dawn members Jessica Redpath & Gregor Greystone in Everlook. Also the quest from Brother Crowley (still in Cathedral basement) to meet him has also been removed. Brother Anton - no longer required for Bros Before Ho Ho Hos achievement. WoWHead posters have confirmed them missing. Probably intended to be like Faldir's Cove. In fairness, it was off the beaten track for most players, and felt unfinished. Captain Vanessa Beltis & the Horizon Scout crew - shipwreck still there, but the crew have vanished. The nearby elves at Quel'lithien Lodge turned wretched, but no obvious sign of these 2 suffering the same curse. Aurora Skycaller & Kriss Goldenlight - part of the original Zin'Malor quest chain, which has now been removed. No mention of her in the quest The Last Wave of Survivors. Presumed lost at sea in the Cataclysm, and not at her original location in Theramore. Fiora Longears - former quest giver in the Auberdine docks. No mention of him in the quest The Last Wave of Survivors. No sign of him, but not confirmed dead either. Gubber Blump - fished near the Auberrdine docks. No sign of Shay anywhere in the nearby ruins either. Rockbiter's campfire is still burning but the camp is deserted. Shay Leafrunner and Rockbiter - a fun side quest involving these 2 (sadly no longer available). His daughter Catelyn is still in Booty Bay. No sign of him near the Crater or in Dalaran itself, only Relios the Relic Keeper (objective of a Horde quest). Archmage Ansirem Runeweaver - previous leader of the Kirin Tor, rebuilder of Dalaran, and author of various Schools of Arcane Magic and other books. However, does anyone else find it mildly unsettling to find certain NPCs you've known well vanishing without a trace or an obvious explanation - bringing to mind the Chuck Cunningham syndrome? Having ventured round some of the Cataclysm-ed areas of the old world, it's no surprise many of the NPCs have seen better days.
